He holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from the prestigious Korea National University of Arts. As a filmmaker, he gained international recognition early in his career, winning the Grand Prize at the ASEAN-Korea Multimedia Competition 2010 in South Korea for his debut film. His bold vision later earned him the Best Director Award at the 13th Pyongyang International Film Festival in North Korea—an extraordinary achievement highlighting the power of art to transcend borders.
Beyond filmmaking, Nash champions cross-cultural understanding and creative empowerment. In 2022, he was honored with the Media Advocacy Award by the Commission on Filipinos Overseas, recognizing his efforts to uplift Filipino artistry and voices on the global stage.
